Ronnie Wood is best known for his collaboration with the legendary Rolling Stones rock, but now he is ready to make waves in the world of art by displaying his work in an exhibition next month. Among these works are a series of limited edition watches, designed by musicians who were created in joint collaboration with the watchmaker Bremont. It comes as a surprise to those who knew him as a member of the Rolling Stones, but the facts show that there are collectors who are looking to collect his work with zeal.

On the marine B1 clock and feels like a work of a craftsman. Bremont has lent his expertise in the engineering aspects for the most part to the mechanism of super-complicated and very sophisticated. This includes three zones, a power reserve of 30 days before a change is necessary, the date, the 90-day clock, and the case completely waterproof. The skeleton of the clock (see photo below) is visible once you open the front dial and see inside. From what we can do as gold, most of the internal components have been designed with care and detail is quite obvious, and abroad. What really Garner more attention is that all 14 units of this watch has been carefully painted by Ronnie Wood himself, illustrating the different stages of his life. Since partnering with the Rolling Stones was more than four decades, there will be many, strictly speaking, but not make a bet to have the whole story as a work of art on the clock.

The Rolling Stones - Rain Fall Down (Music Video)

The Rolling Stones CD

The band, who proclaimed "Greatest Rock & Roll Band in the World" is a long time ago was a rock at the confluence of the most comprehensive art and commerce - with a different emphasis on the latter in recent decades - the concept of This 40-track, five to ten years of coverage anthology can not completely escape. Although this is the first anthology to gather hits of the band's entire career, has already melodies that highlight a central irony of the Stones': almost all the "bad boy" reputation is built by working men. Bring the original 60-century musical bow is limited '50s rock and R & B revivalism ("Not Fade Away," "The Last Time"), and anti-Mop Top aggression ("Satisfaction", "Get Off My Cloud "'nineteenth nervous breakdown") and the proto-goth cynicism ("Paint It Black", "Have you seen your child Mother") and psychedelic minstrelsy ("And' Rainbow," "Ruby Tuesday") is a synthesis of the blues -based cock rock ("Street Fighting Man," "Jumpin 'Jack Flash") in quick succession.

Wrest control over their own destinies - and future copyrights - at the end of 60 years, they spend the next 30 years largely recycling infinite ad early incarnation - their music sprinkled with forays to the opportunity for success in contemporary club and disco fodder ("Some Girls", "Shattered") - and relying on their laurels, well paid. Unfortunately, the listless quartet of new tracks that define this collection seems a little more of another business transaction to exaggeration of their 2002-03 world tour, with "Do not stop" is probably the lowest in a long series of post-80 "The stones are McSingles. If Jagger seems typically detached here, Keith Richards injects some welcome, craggy warmth into the complaint bar final" Losing My Touch. "But it is also a performance suggests his legendary band has become a little more to him than "The Greatest Day Job in the world." - Jerry McCulley

Ready again to release juggernaut that is "The Rolling Stones on tour" in the world, it is time to take a look at the resumes of Messrs Jagger, Richards, Watts, Wyman and all the other bad boys who never grew up. "For the first time!" shouts the sticker on the cover - but why? Do racks groan with collections of countless beautiful Richmond? Ah yes, but no one has withdrawn from covering the label change something boring. This time, the complete picture ...

After (approximately) forty years of dancing with Mr D, Glimmer Twins & Co. has not only shaken the cages of the company, but to refuse (with one exception known) to be planted in a blaze of hell raise fame, was so pillars of society (for citere''respektable''shamefully omitted here) that those who tried to silence them. Arise Sir Mick, yes. Thus, while Mick Jagger warned famous marketing may explain this collection, it is still important as a reminder of the days when each new issue was easily as important as one of the Fab Four.

From reluctant guitar intro''Street Fighting Man''synapsien immediately struck by the realization (or awakening) that these guys pretty mellow west of London, written plan of hard rock in the '60s and '70s. So a lot of this goes beyond B. mere R 'n' These are the archetypes. How many garage-punk bands throughout his career is based on the psych-fuzz''ulos''Tyytyväisyys? How many would-be waste wasteful but have tried to imitate the Pharmaceutical Louche jive on''Honky Tonk Women''tai''Tumbling nuts''? Even Paisley hölynpölyä''Hän Rainbow''vielä returns to work, for example, Flaming Lips.

CD was (and surprisingly) No Filler OF ANY KIND. Each track is still shining like a diamond dirty. CD two lowest rates - the things of time post-emotional rescue, while effective, falls into a ravine more indifferent basic formula, but things comme''Undercover (night)''is a hit. Not much to put in the tooth, though: To Cry''et''It comme''Fool titles only rock 'n' Roll'', criticized at the time of the release is healthy fresh and sincere than any of copyists You''de tout''Miss lame today their latest album truly great, some girls, shows that when you lose Bill Wyman missed a vital part of its rhythmic skeleton.

Four new tracks fare well, but my voice groggy tættere''Lodin the "Richard Touch''byder real power to shoot the most grizzled of the heart strings. A whole essay could be written about the Little Red Rooster omissions ('''','' We love you Time is on my'','' Side''osv. Etc), and while the book has a nice selection of photographs or other form of Stalinism appears to exist in the Stones camp, where only one photo is included Mick Taylor, despite his presence in it, as many references as their classic years. But minor gripes aside, the first comprehensive review of all periods of the satisfaction of finding a job makes it very beautiful. Its a gas gas gas ...

Through The Past, Darkly (Big Hits Vol. 2) CD

I've always had a kind of weakness on this album: it was the third album I've bought stones (after the first "Greatest Hits" and "Let It Bleed"), mainly because it had "Paint It Black" and "Jumping Jack Flash" in the same record, and I always liked the way the songs were sequenced - only seems to have a good flow, at least for me. There are complete compositions of stones, but if you like late 60's Stones, you will probably like this album.

As with the rest of the ABKCO remasters, the sound has improved a lot in the old CD 86 - there are many details in the sound mix on this CD, at least in most of the tracks. "Honky Tonk Women" in particular sounds much better, at least to these ears - the guitars are nice and scuzzy, booming drums and low blows over half of the mix ... and is in stereo, for once. (The doorbell rings again hail to hear it in all its glory, you have to find the old vinyl single.) And it seems that also used the calibrated airspeed "Street Fighting Man" has never sounded so good in the CD before (except, perhaps, the new "Beggars Banquet", CD) and the packaging has been restored to his own glory -. photos are now in color, and tribute and epitaph of Brian Jones was also given.

Unfortunately, I still have a couple of little things to make with a beautiful ABKCO people. I do not care about this, "Have you seen your child Mother" is mono and not stereo mix as the track seems to exist, and at least sounds a little 'less messy and chaotic, like vinyl and previous CD issues. On the contrary, it seems strange that the "Aftermath of the United Kingdom" is the new solo CD stones carrying the stereo mix (however shaky), and "Mother Little Helper", and even strange, that even if the CD on the other hand, is a speed-corrected, this seems to play slower than the old man, a smaller field. It would really hurt ABKCO noted that "track 5 and 10 ppm in black and the rest are in stereo," and not just slap a label "Stereo" on the CD? Regardless, this CD is a great listen. It is not a necessary part of the list, and has just lost their singles final service in the late 60's being released just a couple of months before the "Let It Bleed" (Make a B-side "Honky Tonk Women" "You can not always get what you want," away), but still a record fine. All records of "Paint It Black" and "Jumping Jack Flash" would be.

Rolling Stones: Some Girls Live In Texas '78 (2011)

It seems that the Stones have agreed to testify in High Def, all major monuments filmed concerts of their incredible career. I think it's not just for the money (and still do not know how the money will roll in) No. They are now at a stage career at the end where there is a need to ensure that their descendants are well preserved. The Stones have nothing after all, like the Beatles documentary Anthology. The 25x5 for final quarter of a century, only half of their career to date! I wander ...

This is a great concert. In addition to great musical performances, you will get most of the album "Some Girls" live. The eight-digit calculator!

Shattered, Beast of Burden, and especially when the whip comes down, they are all first class.

Too bad it was not filmed in 35 mm, 16 mm films like these, even when cleaned the HD still has a "fog" look pretty. But for the time and we enjoy it. October 4 to the movies showing here in England, I was surprised by how low Bill Wyman was on the front of SOUNDMIX. Thank you, Clear Mountain, you have shown how fundamental his basslines were the Stones.

Enjoy this live people and I hope the blu ray is as good as the theatrical release. Roll of concerts filmed in blu ray. Allows slaughterhouses of Paris 76, Hampton Roads 81 and perhaps 71 Marquee London if rubbed pretty good old lion television bands. GED

The Rolling Stones are back to work. Keith Richards, the band has confirmed plans to meet in London later this month, trying for the first time, "three or four years." Although three of the four members willing to participate, said Richards, Mick Jagger has not yet RSVP.

"Let's play a little together," Richards told Rolling Stone "does not necessarily want to repeat or write anything -. You just want to touch the foundations of a good start:. Me, Charlie and Ronnie Mick welcome, and I'm sure come, but now only. want to get our shadow. "

Although the Rolling Stones are celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2012, grew up a quarrel between Richards and Mick Jagger since the memory of guitarist Life. In his book, calling Richards Jagger "unbearable" and mocks his "tiny todger." "I used to love Mick, but I was not in his box for 20 years," Richards wrote. Sometimes I think, "I miss my friend." I wonder, "Where did he go? "Jagger later called the book" boring "and" a little bitch. "

Worse, Jagger was said to hold on tour in 2011. "Everyone is willing to come back," Richards said in November last year. Band spokesman later denied plans for a tour. Jagger album, recorded in the heaviest, the super group with Dave Stewart, Joss Stone, Damian Marley and AR Rahman.

In an interview with the Observer on Sunday, the Stones talked to Elizabeth Day about the possibility of a 50th anniversary tour. Notice differed between the group members. Ronnie Wood has said that foot surgery next month for a circuit occurred. "That took 50 years to do it," Richards was also enthusiastic, saying that he was dreaming, but Charlie Watts said he was not bothered of all anyway. As Mick Jagger, who kept his cards close to his chest: "I have no idea that they are not really all that as a group .."

The life and times of the autobiography of Rolling Stone Keith Richards

Drugs, women and song - as the rocker is published autobiography, Neil McCormick remembers wild nights with Keith Richards. My life has been devoted to avoid trouble, "Keith Richards once said," so it's pretty funny to see how many I have known. "

When he laughs, you can hear the crackling around the chest and throat. Five decades have made him the edge of the living embodiment of all the most extravagant myths of sex, drugs and rock n 'roll. He is the man Riff, the elegant world of wasted human being, survived the rock. Or so the story goes, endlessly recycled in rock magazines and unofficial biographies. "As for me, is all the Brothers Grimm fairy tales," according to the man himself.

Now Keith is telling his own story in his autobiography, Life (published by Little, Brown & Co October 26). It was written with James Fox, author of White Mischief, which Richards has been known since the 70's. According to Rolling Stone editor Will Dana management, "Keith is nothing new. It's funny, garrulous, profane and moving ... Out of the Chronicles of Bob Dylan is probably the best rock has been written memory . "

When the legendary life of debauchery, you might think Keith can not remember much. The truth is that he remembers everything, but not always in the right order. I met him a couple of times over the years, most memorable when he practically kidnapped me two days in Los Angeles in the early 90s, driving me around in his limo and talk with me till dawn. But the first time I interviewed a young journalist in the '80s, I was afraid it was a disaster. He had the wrong side of the bottle of Jack Daniels and all, but was confused, talking about a long, healthy prices, just a little 'common sense. But when I got home and listened to the tape, I started to put together jigsaw fashion. I knew I had a great interview, in bulk.

Keith shot from the world of publicity photos with the courage of someone who really has "been there and done it." In person, it is smaller, looser, paunchier, softer than you would expect. His face is a mass of lines and wrinkles. Sometimes, listening to him talk is like watching a drunk staggers into a hallway and down the vocal cadence, your change of address of the sentences. You are never sure whether to do so in the end without collapsing. In a way, yes.
